A team from Leiden successfully observed the eclipse from Rexburg USA. Below some images.
The scientific aim is to measure the polarisation structure of the corona and to contribute to
the citizen science program to measure the dynamics of the corona. Furthermore, changes of the large scale structure of the polarisation of the sky are measured with the
aim of refining models of scattering of dust due to air pollution (or in this case forest fires) in the atmosphere.
