======Guests / visitors - non students====== If you have a guest or visitor who will be coming to the Observatory, please notify the Observatory secretariat. Our secretaries can provide the visitor with a visitor card and coffee card, and arrange a desk and/or a computer account if needed. Check the information below to see what action you need to take.\\ For guests visiting the Observatory for **a maximum of 7 days**, no official registration in the Observatory guest system is required, but please send an email to __at least 1 week prior to the visit__ and indicate in the mail which facilities are needed. For **Dutch / EU guests** who are visiting the Observatory for **7 – 30 days**, registration in the Observatory guest management system is required. Please send an email __at least 1 month prior to the visit__ to and our secretaries will take care of the registration.\\ For the registration they will need: * Full name and initials * Period the guest will be staying * Function of the guest * Name of the supervisor \\ For **Dutch / EU guests** who are visiting the Observatory for **longer than 30 days**, registration with HR is also required. Please send an email to notify the secretariat __at least 1 month prior to the visit__. The secretariat will take care of the registration via the service portal of the Personal Shared Service Center (PSSC). The PSSC will contact the visitor by email and will ask to upload their CV and a copy of their ID. Information about the visitor’s home address is also required.\\ For the registration the secretariat needs the following information: * Full name and initials (as in passport) * Date of birth * Nationality * If the guest is currently living in the Netherlands * Private email address * Function (e.g. researcher, PhD candidate) * Start date and end date of the registration For **NON-EU guests** who are visiting the Observatory for **7 days or longer**, registration with HR is required. Please send an email to to notify the secretariat __at least 3 months prior to the visit__. After registration with HR, SCIS (Service Centre International Staff) will decide if the guest will need a visa/work permit. This can be a time consuming process, that's why we would like to stress the importance of an early registration!\\ For the registration the secretariat will need: * Full name and initials (as in passport) * Date of birth * Nationality * SAP number for possible SCIS/IND costs * If the guest is currently living in the Netherlands * Private email address * Function (e.g. researcher, PhD candidate) * Start date and end date of the registration
