The regular opening hours of Gorlaeus building are: Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 20:00.

If you need extra access to the building:

1. Ask your supervisor for permission;
2. You have participated in the Introduction session of the Faculty and you are aware of the safety procedures;
3. Come to the Secretariat with your LU card. You will need to fill out a form to request additional access rights at the secretariat.

Extra access rights can be granted on institute level for access during work days until 23:00, and in weekends between 08:00 to 18:00 hrs. If 24 hour-access is needed, this should be discussed with the institute manager, and additional approval of the form is needed from the faculty board.

If you would like to pray or meditate, you can use one of the quiet rooms from Faculty of Science. The nearest quiet room is in room CM.1.19. You can ask the secretariat to apply for the access right to your LUcard.
