Outside Printing
(Translation below)Posters met een maximale grootte van A0 (84.1cm x 118.9cm) kunnen op de Sterrewacht worden geprint. Deze service wordt op een first-come-first-serve basis geleverd indien genoeg materiaal en mankracht beschikbaar. Er moet niet van worden uitgegaan dat het Sterrewacht IT-personeel ten alle tijde aanwezig is. Het is daarom alleen mogelijk om op afspraak een poster te laten printen.
Poster aanvragen kunnen middels email: worden geplaatst. Geef daarin aan wat uw voorkeur tijden zijn en wij zullen dan het best mogelijke tijdstip bepalen binnen de bestaande lijst van afspraken.
Voor het printen van posters van met een maximale breedte van 1.50 m kan men terecht bij het UFB, Grafische produkties, Stationsplein 240. Tevoren dient een afspraak te worden gemaakt met het Graphic Center, telefoon (527) 3116,
Instructies
Het is het meest praktisch om zelf het materiaal te brengen. Ter plekke kan dan worden bekeken of het aangeleverde materiaal aan de technische eisen voldoet en printklaar is of dat er nog aanpassingen nodig zijn.
Het kan zijn dat de formattering en met name de gebruikte fonts in bijvoorbeeld mathematische formules niet aanwezig zijn op de computer die de printer bestuurt. Het verdient daarom de voorkeur de poster op de juiste grootte geformatteerd aan te leveren in PDF. Er kan vanuit PowerPoint worden geprint, maar de ervaring leert dat dit niet altijd probleemloos geschied. Andere formaten worden niet ondersteund.
Advies is om ruim tevoren een afspraak te maken, in ieder geval een aantal dagen voor men de poster nodig heeft.
Aanleveren: als zipfile, op een usb stick, op CD of email; layout A4 of custom.
Afhandeling
Ter plaatse wordt een opdrachtformulier ingevuld, waarop altijd een SAPnummer dient te worden vermeld, als via een SAP-nummer wordt betaald. U krijgt een kopie van dit formulier mee voor uw administratie. Het verschuldiged bedrag wordt dan automatisch van uw SAPnummer afgeboekt.
Als u de poster wilt vervoeren, dan dient u zelf een koker of ander vervoer materiaal mee te brengen.

It is not guaranteed that Sterrewacht IT-personel is present at all hours of the day. Therefore you need to make an appointment to have your poster printed.
Use email: to request a poster print appointment. Please state your prefered data and times for printing and we will find the closest appropriate time within the schedule.

Instructions
The most practical way is to bring you poster material in person, so you can confirm that the interpretation of your information on the computer connected to the printer is correct. If not you have the opportunity to modify the information on the spot.
It is possible that the fonts used are not all available on the print computer. Notably the mathematical formulae may have special fonts that are likely not included in your file. Therefore, it is advised to use the PDF format, with all fonts included, to prepare your poster for printing. It is possible to print directly from PowerPoint, but experience shows that this is not always without problems. We do not support other formats.
We advise you to make an appointment a few days in advance to the time you need it.

Handling
On site we will fill-in a request from on which we record your SAP number. When paid through SAP no VAT will be charged. You will recieve a copy on the final invoice for your personal administration. The poster printing costs will be deducted from your SAPnumber automatically.
You have to provide your own transportation device to take away the printed poster. We do not provide that material.
