Welcome
The optical/infrared astronomy instrumentation group at Leiden Observatory is a leading partner in a number of high profile international instrumentation projects for both ground- and space-based astronomy. The group is closely connected with other Dutch centres in academia and industry, and is actively engaged with international organisations such as ESA, ESO and NASA. Our work receives funding from NOVA, NWO, the EU Opticon programme, the EU Marie Curie scheme and Leiden Observatory.
