: Antique telescope moved to the atrium of the Gorlaeus Building
Sun 20 Apr 2025; The old telescope used to stand in the Huygens building, which housed the Leiden Observatory until last year’s move to the new Gorlaeus Building. Now, the telescope—resembling a cannon on a tripod—has found a beautiful and prominent new spot: right next to the grand staircase in the atrium.
